Three spectrum profiles
- Isolate: CBD only, 99%+ pure, with no other cannabinoids. The most predictable single compound.
- Broad Spectrum: CBD plus minor cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, CBDV) and terpenes, with THC removed to non-detectable levels.
- Full Spectrum: the complete plant profile, including THC under 0.3% (US line) or up to 1% (Swiss line).
The entourage effect
Cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids act together, each enhancing the action of the others. Full Spectrum preserves this synergy in its entirety. Broad Spectrum keeps most of it while eliminating THC exposure.
When Broad Spectrum is chosen
- Patients who cannot have any THC exposure, for professional, legal or clinical reasons.
- Anxiety and mood protocols, where a THC-free starting point is often preferred.
- Pediatric and neurological protocols that require a fully THC-free profile.
When Full Spectrum is chosen
- Pain, spasticity and sleep protocols where the physician wants the THC contribution.
- Cases where the entourage effect is the goal of the protocol.
- Protocols that benefit from a higher THC ratio, using the Swiss 1% line or the 1:1 oil.
How to read the label
Every True Wellness product states its spectrum, concentration per mL and THC status on the label and in the Certificate of Analysis. Broad Spectrum and Isolate products are batch-tested to confirm no detectable THC.
